So, how many times in your life have you seen someone that you fancy and been to scared to go up and approach them? Let me guess, once, twice, a dozen, hundreds?
So, what are you scared of exactly? That they will ignore you? That they think that you are crazy? That they will be rude to you?
Well, let me tell you something - 99% of the time none of these things will happen to you. As long as you are not rude, everybody will be polite to you. We are all programmed to be naturally nice unless frightened - that's where the old fight or flight response kicks in.
So don't be shy and you will meet some pleasant people - and maybe a future date.
So, my challenge to you today is to approach somebody that you have never ever met before and start a conversation with them. I guarantee that they will be nice to you in return. Once you have done that, tomorrow try the same approach but this time to 5 people. The day after that approach somebody who you see, who you fancy - and do the same. Don't waste opportunities. You only live once, right.
